Hispanic Heritage Month at KidsPlay: Cultural Show-and-Tell
Thursday, October 6 from 6 pm to 7 pm
Come learn about other cultures and family traditions across Latin America. This program is all about building understanding and celebrating each other! Bring an object or picture to show or talk about what makes your family special!
$2 per person. Ticket price includes Museum admission.

KidsPlay is partnering with New Opportunities to showcase dances across Latin America. Join us for some spectacular dance demonstrations and try a few moves of your own!

Inclusive Playtime at KidsPlay
Friday, October 14 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm & Sunday, October 23 from 9 am to 10 am
Inclusive Playtime provides a sensory-friendly and judgment-free environment for play and learning for children with disabilities, on the autism spectrum, and/or sensory processing challenges and their families.
$2 per person. Registration is encouraged
Spooky Science Night
Thursday, October 20 from 6 pm to 7 pm
Have you ever wanted the chance to be a mad scientist? Spooky Science Night is the perfect opportunity!
In honor of National Chemistry week and the Halloween Season, we will be exploring the fun of chemistry through spooky and exciting experiments! A big thank you to our friends at Dymax who will be providing volunteer facilitators to guide us through our chemical concoctions!
While the experiments are more suitable for children ages 5+, we invite all families to participate in this special evening.
KidsPlay’s First Annual Pumpkin Chuckin’
Saturday, October 29 from 2 pm to 4 pm
Mark your calendars for KidsPlay’s First Annual Pumpkin Chuckin’!
Design and build a catapult in the Maker Space and watch your mini pumpkins fly through the air! Launch a pumpkin in our parking lot using KidsPlay’s trebuchet and try to hit the bullseye!

Tales with Humphry
Saturdays in October from 11 am to 12 pm
Humphry will be in the Story Nest inside the Literary Tree House every Saturday to read a selection of children’s books. Come join us!
This program is included with admission.
