TIX22	Get $1 off per person on full-price advanced timed-entry ticket purchases made online or by phone.
ACM	Use this code for ½ price admission if you are a member of a museum in the Association of Children’s Museums Reciprocal Network
BLUESTAR	If you or a family member is currently serving in the U.S. Military receive free admission through the Blue Star Museum program. (Valid Armed Forces Day through Labor Day for up to 6 people) Qualifying families must show one of the following: Geneva Convention Common Access card (CAC) DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID) DD Form 1173-1 ID.
MFA	Use when presenting a SNAP benefits card, a WIC Card, or a Foster Family License to qualify for $3 admission through Museums for All. (Valid for up to 4 tickets per card/license.)
VP/GC	If you have a KidsPlay Visit Pass or Gift Certificate.

Library Pass or Agency Voucher:

Library Pass: Enter the library code at the top of the pass for ½ price admission. (Valid for up to 6 tickets per library pass.)

Ticket FAQs

What is advanced timed ticketing? How does it work?

All visitors are strongly encouraged to reserve or purchase a timed-entry ticket in advance to help us manage capacity. For groups of 6 or more, please call the Museum to schedule your visit.
Groups should arrive within 5 minutes of the time stated on your ticket. Entry for early or late arrivals will be permitted only as capacity allows.
Please print your tickets or have them ready on your mobile device. As a backup, please note your ticket numbers for an easy check-in upon arrival.

What if I buy timed tickets and can’t come on that day/time?

Please arrive within 5 minutes of the time stated on your ticket. Entry for early or late arrivals will be permitted only as capacity allows.
If you or anyone in your group feels unwell or develops CDC-defined COVID-19 symptoms between now and your planned visit, contact the Museum to reschedule.
We are diligently monitoring our capacity, so if for any reason you cannot attend on your scheduled date and time, please call the Museum so we can make your tickets available for other visitors.

What if I arrive late for my timed ticket?

Please arrive within 5 minutes of the time stated on your ticket. Entry for early or late arrivals will be permitted only as capacity allows.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

Unticketed visitors are permitted as capacity allows. We strongly encourage visitors to purchase or reserve their tickets in advance on our website or over the phone. Use discount code TIX22 for $1 off tickets purchased in advance. If you need to use cash for your payment, please call the Museum at 860-618-7700 to reserve your ticket.

What is the Summer at the Museum - Kids are Free program and how can I obtain tickets?

We are pleased to announce that we are participating in Connecticut Summer at the Museum! Through this program, Connecticut children aged 18 and under plus one accompanying adult can visit KidsPlay free of charge from July 1 to Sept. 4!
Summer at the Museum – Kids are Free tickets are only available online or in advance by telephone 860-618-7700. Tickets are subject to availability and capacity limits.
KidsPlay can only offer free admission to one adult per household per day to ensure the sustainability and quality of our program.
CT Summer at the Museum is for Museum Admission and does not apply to group sales such as field trips or birthday parties.
