Thursday Night STEM: Build a Catapult

Join us as we build mini catapults in preparation for KidsPlay’s First Annual Pumpkin Chuckin’ event. We will learn about velocity, trajectory, torque and the other ways that science plays into chuckin’ mini pumpkin across a room!
This project contains tiny pieces, and we will be using real tools. Recommended for ages 5+
If you have purchased a Catapult Kit through KidsPlay’s First Annual Pumpkin Chuckin’ registration (Saturday, October 29, 2 pm – 4 pm), they will be available for pick up. If you have not reserved a kit, we will be using the materials in the Maker Space to construct our catapults.
Tickets are $5 and include Museum admission.
