Join us for an evening of spooky fun in KidsPlay’s South Gallery! Learn about chemistry through fun seasonal experiments:

  • Make your own spooky “lava lamp” with recycled materials,
  • Try out chromatography on your Halloween candy,
  • Learn about the “like dissolves like” rule with a gross mixture of chocolate and chewing gum,
  • And more!

All ages are invited, but some STEM experiments are more suitable for ages 5+.

This event is free thanks to the generous support of Dymax.

Spooky Science is part of the Downtown Torrington Cultural District’s Halloween Hoopla.

There is no pre-registration for this program; walk-ins welcome!
