Join us for another Read Aloud with Effie!
Effie, from Our Culture is Beautiful, will be giving a dramatic storytelling of the courage and resilience of Ruby Bridges and her mother Lucille. Learn how Ruby was the first black child to attend William Frantz Elementary School in Louisiana and what this meant for the future of civil rights in America.
Pre-registration is encouraged. Museum admission is included. Stay and play after the program!
