KidsPlay Participates in National Museum Assessment Program
KidsPlay Children’s Museum was delighted to welcome back our original Peer Reviewer, Dr. William “Mac” Sudduth, for a Follow-up Review through the Museum Assessment Program (MAP).
This opportunity, administered by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), is offered to only about 20 museums each year. Museums selected for a Follow-up Review must demonstrate significant progress in implementing the recommendations provided during their original assessment by their Peer Reviewer.
The Museum Assessment Program allowed us to build on the progress we’ve made since our original MAP assessment in 2020, benefiting once again from Dr. Sudduth’s guidance and expertise as we begin to develop our next strategic plan.
