KidsPlay’s 2025 Year End Appeal
When children build towers taller than themselves, explore light and sound using their senses, or serve an elaborate meal in the Diner, they are learning through hands-on play. Every visit to KidsPlay is guided by imagination, igniting wonder and joy. Every gift from friends like you keeps this magic alive.
Over the past twelve months, KidsPlay has welcomed more than 60,000 visits from children and caregivers. Families laughed, created, and connected in spaces designed and built just for them. With our expanded 20,000-square-foot galleries, KidsPlay now offers more exhibits and community spaces than ever before.
This growth is exciting — and challenging.
A larger space means higher costs to staff, heat, and operate. While earned income from admissions, memberships, and programs covers about half of operating costs, KidsPlay depends on donations to sustain the high-quality, affordable experiences that families expect and deserve
The Museum is also adapting to a changing funding landscape. Government support, major gifts, and foundation funding have shifted, making contributions from friends like you even more vital.
