Thursday Happenings at KidsPlay!
Starting this Thursday, June 23

KidsPlay's Best Summer EVER is kicking off this week!

Join us at the Museum for Thursday Happenings at KidsPlay every week at 6 pm for a special program with different partner organizations.

Space is limited so pre-registration is strongly encouraged for all programs. Click on the program name to register!

Ticket price includes Museum admission.

Thursday Happenings Schedule

June 23 - Playing in the Past [Litchfield Historical Society] - Explore toys of past decades and centuries!

June 30 - Animal Adaptation [White Memorial] - Learn how wildlife adapts through props and LIVE animals!

July 7 - African Drumming [Our Culture is Beautiful] - Experience African drumming and make your own beats!

July 14 - Not So Primitive Technology [IAIS] - Look at technology made from natural resources and make your own clay pottery!

July 21 - Snakes Alive ! [Roaring Brook Nature Center] - Learn about and touch real snakes!

July 28 - Nutmeg Ballet Dancers [Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory] - Watch the Nutmeg Ballet Dancers perform and practice a few of your own moves!

August 4 - KidsPlay's 10th Birthday Extravaganza! - Casey Carle's BubbleMania performances at the Warner Theatre and family activities on Mainstreet all evening from 4 - 8 pm!

August 11 - Nutmeg Ballet Dancers Pt. 2 [Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory] - The Nutmeg Ballet is back! Enjoy some new performances and dance alongside the dancers after a quick ballet lesson!

August 18 - Life Between the Tides [The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk] - Learn about different marine life with a hands-on touch tank!

August 25 - Back to School Celebration - Our final Thursday Happening we will be celebrating back to school with fun crafts, activities, and challenges!
