May Events At KidsPlay

Learning from others and hearing outside perspectives can be a powerful tool. When we listen to others and what they have to share, a whole new world opens up to us full of connections, creativity, and fun. We may find that we share things in common like how we celebrate and play, or we may find that there are things that are completely different. This month let us connect with our community to learn more about what makes us unique, all while taking the time to show appreciation for our caregivers and mothers!

Inclusive Playtime
Friday, May 13 at 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm & Sunday, May 22 at 9 am to 10 am

Inclusive Playtime provides a sensory-friendly and judgment-free environment for play and learning for children with disabilities, on the autism spectrum, and/or sensory processing challenges and their families. Finding places for the whole family to play without stress can be difficult. During Inclusive Playtime we further limit capacity, lower the lights, decrease the sounds throughout the exhibits, and provide adaptive equipment such as noise-reducing headphones.
