Help Us Cook Up

Help Us Cook Up "Ultimate Exploration: KidsPlay's Best Summer EVER!"

Help us reach our $40,000 goal. These funds will be used for “Ultimate Exploration”, a series of activities, events, and programs that promote the well-being of children!

When KidsPlay first started cooking up playful learning a decade ago, the families ate it up with enthusiasm. Since then, we have improved our recipe by experimenting with community partnerships, educational content, and accessibility initiatives. These innovative ingredients have allowed KidsPlay to become far more than a colorful space with cool homegrown exhibits. We have sweetened the early childhood ecosystem and stirred up culture in the region.

As we approach our 10th Birthday in August, there is an appetite for summer fun like never before. School-age kids anxiously await their first "real” summer in years; very young children, the "pandemic babies," are beginning to experience the basic joys we took for granted in the past. Severe disruption, social isolation, and learning loss have left families hungry for enrichment and connection.

We can feed this need with a recipe we are calling “Ultimate Exploration: KidsPlay’s Best Summer EVER.”

"Ultimate Exploration" incorporates new exhibit elements, learning programs, and special events to nourish the social, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing of children for an enthusiastic return to the classroom in the fall.

A donation from you is the secret ingredient that makes this recipe come together. Your gift to KidsPlay during Give Local will strengthen KidsPlay's ability to serve up “Ultimate Exploration: KidsPlay’s Best Summer EVER.”

Your support helps us be a unique, world-class venue and an innovative community resource.
