We are pleased to announce that we are participating in CT Summer at the Museum! Through this program, Connecticut children age 18 and under plus one accompanying adult can visit KidsPlay free of charge from July 1 to Sept. 5!
- CT residents can reserve their timed-entry tickets using this link or by calling the Museum.
- Tickets are available up to 10 days in advance. There are a limited number of tickets available.
- There must be an accompanying adult and every person needs a ticket.
- Limit one free adult per household per day.
- Additional adults are $10 each.
- CT Summer at the Museum tickets must be reserved in advance either online or by phone.
- Walk-in tickets are not available for free admission under this program.

Q: How do I reserve CT Summer at the Museum tickets?
A: Please click on this link to reserve your tickets or call the Museum at 860-618-7700.

Q: Are there limits to how many free tickets are available?
A: Yes, there is a limited number of tickets per day for this program. If CT Summer at the Museum tickets are sold out, general admission tickets may be available until they are sold out. Still need tickets? Become an annual or summer member. Member tickets are always available!
Q: What do I do if I reserved tickets that I can not use?
A: Please call the museum or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel your tickets so we can make them available to other visitors. Tickets are limited so if you do not use your tickets, so it is important to let us know so other families can use them. Thank you!
Q: How far in advance can we reserve tickets?
A: Tickets are available 10 days in advance on a rolling basis.
Q: My family lives in CT during the summer? Do we qualify for free admission?
A: Yes. If you own a summer home in CT, you do qualify for free admission for your children and one adult. Please bring a utility bill or some other proof of your CT residence.
Q: Hi there! I purchased my tickets before CT Summer at the Museum was announced. Can I change to the free tickets?
A: Yes, if you purchased your tickets prior to July 1, we can refund your tickets and rebook if there is availability. Please call the Museum.
Q: I am a Connecticut resident, and I am also a KidsPlay Member. Can you extend my membership for 2 months since CT admission is free this summer?
A: No, we will not be extending memberships. One of our many membership benefits is tickets are always available.
Q: Hi! I’m planning a field trip for my day camp, do camp groups qualify for the free admission?
A: CT Summer at the Museum is for Museum Admission and does not apply to group sales such as field trips or birthday parties.
