June's Author of the Month is Chris Van Dusen

Chris Van Dusen is June's Author of the Month.

Chris is a best-selling author and illustrator of numerous books including Down to the Sea with Mr. Magee, The Circus Ship, Big Truck Little Island, and his "If I built" series. He favors a whimsical illustration style with a retro flair that appeals to both children and grown-ups. A Maine native, Chris lives in a beautiful little town on the coast with his wife and yellow lab named Opal.
