April Events at KidsPlay!

April Events at KidsPlay!

Do you see the grass turning green? Do you hear the birds greet each new day with songs? Do you smell the rain showers and flowers on blossoming trees? Do you feel the sun’s warmth? Do you think about the tastes of fruits and vegetables and drippy, sweet ice cream cones? Our senses help us discover that spring is a different season. It’s a season of beginnings–baby animals, awakening bears, sprouts and buds, and new life to insects. Using our 5 senses, exercising, and problem solving, Kidsplay opens its door and welcomes families to spring discoveries!

 Inclusive Playtime

Inclusive Playtime provides a sensory-friendly and judgment-free environment for play and learning for children with disabilities,  autism, and/or sensory processing disorders and their families. Finding places for the whole family to play without stress can be difficult. During Inclusive Playtime we further limit capacity, lower the lights, decrease the sounds throughout the exhibits, and provide adaptive equipment such as noise-reducing headphones.
