Maker Challenge #7
The 4th of July is a celebration of the 13 colonies' Declaration of Independence from England in 1776. To commemorate this event, families celebrate by joining together for fireworks, parades, concerts, and barbecues.
For this week's Maker Challenge, ask your child to create something to help celebrate the 4th. It could be a poster, a flag, a tee shirt or headband, or even a great recipe! You might challenge your child to incorporate light, sound, and color into a design. Whatever your child creates, be sure to include it in your own family celebration this Saturday, and share it with us at our KidsPlay Show & Tell on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30. We'll start the celebration early!
