Kids in Motion - Yoga Asanas
Don't you feel great when you find an activity that is both good for your body and for your mind? Yoga has been around for thousands of years and has been used successfully for just those purposes. The asanas, or physical poses, build strength and flexibility, while the pranayamas, or breathing exercises, calm the body and refresh the mind.
This week, take some time to share the benefits of yoga with your children, encouraging the development of balance, coordination, control, and calm.
