Meet Our New Staff

Meet Our New Staff

KidsPlay is excited to introduce you to our three new staff members.

Elaine Finefrock-Development Manager
Elaine is a recent transplant from Pennsylvania where she worked in development for a regional symphony orchestra. Her favorite KidsPlay exhibit is the Literacy Treehouse since it combines two of her very favorite things: books and trees.
Fun fact: Elaine competed in the Junior Olympics as a fencer. Ask her for swashbuckling advice during your pirate play!

Heather DeLeone-Community Engagement Manager
Heather comes to KidsPlay with a background in education and arts nonprofit work, most recently in Vermont. Her favorite KidsPlay exhibit is the Fire Truck where she enjoys putting out fires and saving cats from trees with her 3 year old son.
Fun Kid Fact: Heather loved mysteries and ghost stories as a kid and was able to see filming of the tv show "Unsolved Mysteries" in her home town of Old Forge, New York. Several friends' parents served as extras on the episode.

Julia Schigas - Development and Marketing Assistant
Julia grew up in Bristol, CT, and graduated from St. Paul Catholic School. She moved to North Carolina after school but returned to Connecticut to be closer to family. Her favorite KidsPlay exhibit is the Bubble Tower!
