Purposeful - New Website
KidsPlay’s website hosts 2,500 unique visitors and nearly 9,300 views each month. Museum websites should inspire families to visit and provide practical and easy to find information about how to get there, when to visit, and what is going on. The website should reflect the Museum’s brand and mission. KidsPlay’s current website is difficult to navigate and maintain and does not reflect the Museum experience or educational theory. A more engaging website will tell KidsPlay’s story, inspire people to come to the museum, and draw new families to our historic downtown. A new website will provide a better user experience for visitors, increase organizational efficiency, and offer new opportunities for donor engagement and recognition. In a digital world where 80% of museum visitors use a website to plan their trip, more than 60% of donors visit a website before making a gift, and 54% of donors prefer to give online, KidsPlay’s web presence is more important than ever.
