KidsPlay Children’s Museum is pleased to announce that it was recently awarded a $45,000 grant by the
Seherr-Thoss Charitable Trust. These funds will be used to connect the Museum’s 61 & 69 Main Street
facilities and to prepare the front 4,000 sq. ft. of street-level space in the 69 Main Street facility for
exhibit expansion. This is an important step toward the full integration of this recently purchased
building with the Museum’s current venue.
Once this space is connected and renovated over the course of the next year the Museum will have an
opportunity to develop permanent exhibits addressing large motor skills and creative arts. Exhibits will
continue to be designed and built specifically for the developing minds of young children and will offer
unparalleled experiences away from the screen.
Over the next few years KidsPlay plans to integrate the full 7,500 sq. ft. of the street level space
available in the 69 Main Street building. The estimated cost of the total project is $895,000. The
museum is working diligently to secure funding for this major expansion.
We thank you for your interest and support of KidsPlay Children’s Museum. We are very pleased to
move forward and expand our service to the children and families of the community.
KidsPlay will remain open to the public at 61 Main Street from 10 am to 4 pm Wednesdays through
