Family Fridays - The Longest Day for Music and Play

June 21, 2019 | 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for our June Family Friday, experimenting, imagining, creating…

We are excited to announce that this month’s Family Friday is The Longest Day of Music and Play! It will take place on June 21. KidsPlay is collaborating with the NWCT Arts Council to present these special performances as a part of the Arts Council’s Make Music Day NWCT. Make Music is an international event where musicians of all types, skill sets, and ages come together for a celebration of music.

The Museum will be open from 10 am – 8 pm with themed activities from 4 pm – 8 pm. Admission will be FREE after 4 pm!

Join us as we enjoy live musicians performing at KidsPlay:

4:30 pm - Susan Strand, Leader of the GCC Drummer.

5:15 pm - Kate Lori, Opera Singer.

6:30 pm - Chorus Angelicus.

7:00 pm John MacBeth,  Blues

Throughout the evening, families will be able to create jingle sticks and spin drums, participate in musical science experiments, play some fun music-themed bingo, and enjoy extra time for play!

Bring your family to enjoy The Longest Day for Music and Play at KidsPlay. Let’s have fun making music together!
