Family Fridays - May is for Making

May 17, 2019 | 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

May is for Making!

Children are natural makers! We love to encourage and expand children’s natural making abilities and help them embrace the mindsets of making – the ways of thinking that allow them to approach a challenge or a task with confidence and without always knowing the end result.

Our May is for Making Family Friday event will provide lots of opportunities to participate in fun making projects. There will be tools to learn about and explore: a spinning wheel, a sewing machine, power tools and a button maker. You’ll have a chance to make friendship bracelets and pom poms, geoboard patterns, wind flyers, and sand castles. And you can enter our LEGO design challenge or a win a game of construction-themed Bingo!

Join us for a night of fun and let’s make things together!

The Museum will be open until 8. Pre-registration suggested.
