Spooky Science: Let's do Chemistry!

October 26, 2018 | 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Come join KidsPlay on October 26 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm for an exciting evening of Spooky Science: Let’s do Chemistry. We are excited to be part of this nationwide festival of educational programs in conjunction with The National Informal STEM Education Network about ways to experiment, explore, and tackle challenges with chemistry. Chemistry is all around us- It’s in the air we breath, the food we eat, the clothes we wear, and much more. This evening will be filled with opportunities to discover, create, and problem-solve with chemistry. Participants can launch a mini rocket with a chemical reaction, create foggy bubbles with dry ice, solve a colorful mystery, make their own dye from bug parts, and much more.

In addition to the fascinating experiments located throughout the museum, it is a fun-filled night for families to enjoy the other wonderful exhibits at KidsPlay. Experiments are appropriate for ages 5 and up, but all ages are welcome to play.
