Touch a Truck

May 19, 2018 | 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

O&G’s Annual Touch a Truck event is held each May to cap off National Construction Safety Week. This year Touch a Truck will take place on Saturday, May 19 from 10 am to 1 pm at the O&G Maintenance Facility located at 900 South Main Street in Torrington, CT.

This is an event for the entire family! Kids can touch and climb on the vehicles that are on display. The event features over 25 pieces of equipment from O&G including a dozen pieces of equipment from O&G’s guests and local first responders. Activities for children include sand art, face painting, and more. Food Truck vendors will be onsite. They include Frankie’s World Famous Hot Dogs, Kona-Ice and Bella Sera.

KidsPlay Children’s Museum is the beneficiary of O&G Industries Annual Touch a Truck. The suggested donation of $2 per person will benefit a new construction exhibit at the Museum.

Parking is available at O&G’s Bogue Road Facility (255 Lower Bogue Rd, Harwinton, CT), across the street from Iffland Lumber in O&G’s staging lot or the commuter lot located next to Ron’s Automotive (22 Thomaston Rd, Litchfield, CT). Shuttle buses are available to take guests from the parking lot to the event.
