We Can Be Architects

May 10, 2017 | 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

What do grown-ups do? When you grow up, would you like to be an architect? Do you like to build things? What does an architect do?

Come to KidsPlay to meet Dr. Michael Crosbie. He is a dad, an author, and an architect! He is also a professor of architecture at the University of Hartford. That means he teaches college students how to be architects. He will share his children’s books about architecture which he wrote for his son when his son was a little boy. Using our KidsPlay building materials, you can show him some of the ways you build!

Don’t miss this great visit from a grown-up who used to draw and play with blocks and now designs buildings!
