Kids on Stage!

March 9, 2017 | 10:45 am - 10:00 am

Using speaking, movement, music and theatre, children are invited to step into the big idea and joy of books. To introduce the stories to be read at storytime, we frame the stories with experiences that invite children to think ahead and connect to the story theme and actions. These introductions often come from our Mystery Box and include children’s thoughts and words.

The stage experience usually includes one introductory story to the Story and More program which follows in the Literacy Treehouse’s Story Nest.
