Kidsplay Museum appreciates and applauds the many caregivers—professional and volunteer—-grandparents, relatives, daycare workers, moms and dads—who spend time with children. Kidsplay is dedicated to children and playful learning. The Museum knows the importance of caregivers and wants to support them.
The purpose of the Caregivers’ Circle is to provide a dedicated time for caregivers to meet, relax, and talk while children have fun with learning experiences in our multi-purpose room. Our Circle is open to all. We share a suggested resource, helpful quote to guide our experiences, and a relevant topic. Suggested topics and resources come from participants and the facilitator. Discussion is casual and open ended, giving Caregivers a chance to participate, express the importance of their work, and to appreciate the challenges and joys of being with children. The Caregivers’ Circle is intended to applaud and support, not judge or add stress.
We are offering Caregivers’ Circle at a new time on Thursdays, 9:30-10:15 am! The main Museum will open as usual at 10:00, but activities for children will be offered in our Programming Room, as we gather there a half hour before the rest of the Museum is open.
All are welcome to stop by, participate at your own comfort level, and fit your own schedule. Caregivers’ Circle is not a club, but hopefully will become a place and time that is welcoming, supportive and informative. Caregivers are appreciated at Kidsplay!
Caregivers Circle is included in the price of admission.
